the virtual calendar
I designed the Virtual Calendar in 2002 as a backdrop to a
series of paintings I did in 1999. I had become engrossed
with 3D imagery and wanted to create an atmosphere that
would complement the original character of the paintings
rather than imitate them.
Also I have to add that year was a year of sexual/sensual
rediscovery and hence the somewhat erotic overtone...
.................................................................................................

the techy site
only lasted about 4 weeks on the web, and was basically no
more than a pathetic attempt at imitating the DeviantArt
wallpapers.
Sorry... :(
.................................................................................................

the crossstitch site
did manage to survive for almost a year was largely designed
as a tribute to my beloved sister Fatma Taze,
one of whose many skills is embroidery.
.................................................................................................

the multiple skin site
was a dare and a bet with a colleague who insisted that no good could
possibly come of the photoshop layer styles palette.
Emre, were you right or were you wrong? I still don't know
but I do know that this site had it's day in less than 2
months... :(
