Teams
The team members will be selected randomly, either by an in-class lottery or by similar means. One computer engineer and one artist/designer will collaborate at all phases of the work, from conception to execution.

Neither designer nor engineer is to see or define his/her role as being solely his or her area of study. The conception, writing, planning, research, navigation and architectural planning phases of the project will be done together. The computer scientist will bring his/her specialised knowledge of coding, special effects and the like into play and the designer his/her knowledge in areas such as layout, typography, image processing, video, 3D modelling and the like. Whilst it is only to be expected that each team member will do the chores that demand his/her expertise he/she is not only encouraged but expected to have creative input, at least as far as brainstorming is concerned, in the other team members output. All decisions concerning the projects will be joint decisions.

As far as we, your instructors, are concerned the most valuable thing that you will gain from this course is learning to create together. No matter what your output looks like in the end: If during its creation you have learned to collaborate that will be good enough for us!
