Text, generated either based upon user input or on a totally random basis, not only enriches dummy type but is a creative endeavour in its own right.

One way in which random text can be utilised to great effect is its usage as a basis for visual material and narrative. So much that happens to us is random and what better way to express the absurdity of existence than by generative text - be it prose or poetry, that has no inherent meaning. It is also extremely interesting to read and/or generate random text because somehow, against all odds, it does often carry concealed meanings and depth - almost like a modern day I-Ching.
